The Episcopal Center for Children (ECC) called us after receiving a glowing recommendation from a client of ours. It turns out, the ECC has been so focused on its mission of caring for troubled youth, that they let their website and logo slip into disarray.Getting up and going with a new website was a major step for us. Throughout it all, you remained patient, relaxed and encouraging. Thank you for all you did and I’m also glad that going forward, you’ll continue to be with us. – Alan Korz, Director, Episcopal Center for Children
We launched the project with a new logo design. Once we received approval on that, we quickly launched the web development phase with research and discovery. First, we conducted interviews with staff at the ECC and defined their website goals and desired website features. Part of the conversations at this stage with the nice folks at the ECC involved discussions about current website technologies and capabilities. We love spending time sharing what we know and in the end the client has a more scalable and user-friendly product.
The new ECC website speaks to three unique audiences: parents of troubled youth, social workers, and donors. It has a light, endearing feeling that is clean with a concise menu using animated dropdown menus. A Guestbook, monthly news releases, and a calendar keep the website relevant year-round.
