Proactive Accessibility Compliance
WCAG ShieldTM gives you the tools, testing, and expert oversight you need to mitigate risk and demonstrate your dedication to digital accessibility.

Achieving and maintaining WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance isn’t a one-time project – it’s an ongoing commitment.
WCAG ShieldTM includes:
Ongoing Automated Scanning and Remediation
Automated accessibility scans are run on your website to check against approximately 30% of WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria – the portion that can be accurately tested by any automated software.
- Scans detect common accessibility barriers such as missing alt text, color contrast failures, mislabeled element groupings, and improper heading structures.
- Up to one hour per month of remediation included to address newly introduced errors including PDFs.
Flexible Reporting Options
Choose the cadence that works best for your team:
- Weekly or monthly reports delivered straight to your inbox.
- PDF versions ready to include in Board packets or share with legal counsel.
Annual Full-Scope Manual Audits
Automated scans only tell part of the story. Once a year, we conduct a manual accessibility audit to test your site against 100% of WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.
- Identifies issues software can’t catch, such as logical reading order, link context, and keyboard navigation.
- Includes clear remediation recommendations and guidance. Note, remediation may incur additional cost if not introduced by our software or services.
$15,000 ADA Indemnification
Receive up to $15,000 in legal defense support for accessibility-related claims. That’s how confident we are with WCAG ShieldTM keeping your website 100% WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliant!
Coverage will only be available to sites in our WCAG Shield™ program that meet our entry requirements, score thresholds, and follow our remediation guidance.
Program Entry Requirement
Before enrollment in WCAG Shield™, every website must pass a full manual accessibility audit to verify baseline WCAG compliance.
- If we designed and developed your site, this audit is typically included in your program onboarding.
- If we did not build your site, the audit is required before acceptance into the program.
- Agencies may submit documentation of a recent third-party audit, but it must meet our review standards.
Why Choose WCAG Shield™?
- Designed specifically for public agencies, special districts, and state/local government websites.
- Balances ongoing monitoring with annual comprehensive audits to keep you compliant with legal regulations.
- Clear, documented proof of your accessibility efforts is invaluable for transparency and legal defense.
