The International Association of Burn Camps (IABC) provides a global network for local and regional organizations serving the burn community, supporting the physical, social, and psychological needs of burn survivors and their families.
Project background.
The IABC came to us at a critical moment. Their previous website had suddenly crashed with no backup and no way to locate the original developer. Years of content were at risk of being lost and the organization urgently needed a stable, long-term replacement.
Referred to us through a client relationship we’ve maintained for more than 17 years, IABC needed more than a simple rebuild. They required a modern, member-based platform that could support growth, strengthen communication across the burn camp community, and be easy to manage for their volunteer Board of Directors.
The new site includes gated forums and shared resources for members, along with a public directory of member camps complete with program details, to help families find the right camp for their needs.
From the ground up, the website was designed and developed to meet WCAG accessibility standards, prioritizing readable content, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader compatibility.
The result is an easy-to-manage membership website that supports IABC’s mission and provides the digital foundation that can grow alongside the community it serves.
