Metro Water Recovery (MWR) is the largest wastewater district in the Rocky Mountain region, serving over 2.2 million people. Their website educates users about the critical work they conduct 24/7/365 while streamlining external requests and encouraging conservation.
Project background.
In 2021 MWR rebranded to shift focus to their environmental work and attract new talent. At the same time they began a website redesign project to replace their 15-year old website originally implemented by their IT department.
We’ve worked with MWR’s Strategy and Communication department since 2004 and had been advocating for a website refresh since day one, so we were ready when they were.
The new website launched in September 2021 to great acclaim. Along with their new brand, MWR employees have never been prouder to be part of this environmentally conscious organization.
